I spent years working with adolescents and young adults before I even started working as a psychotherapist 12 years ago. I am fascinated with how humans work and emotional intelligence. In addition to my graduate school experience at Northwestern University, I’ve continued my educational experience through reading many books and attending trainings. Particular trainings that have shifted the lens in which I understand people are Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™, Pat Ogden’s Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Deb Dana’s Rhythm of Regulation.
I will always be an east coaster at heart, but currently live in Chicago. I’ve been an athlete most of my life, which greatly informs my coaching, and I’m a photographer as well. I am passionate about educating others about mental health and how our minds and bodies are connected. I work as hard as my clients and strive to find ways to be both challenging and supportive.
